- ABOUT US -
Brian, one of the two co-owners of Lyons Bridge Farm Beef LLC., worked for many years in a high quality Chicago-area butcher shop which also operated a catering business and a restaurant. He recently attended the cuisine program at Le Cordon Bleu London. Brian is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served our country in the Persian Gulf during operation Enduring Freedom.
Wes, the other co-owner, grew up only a few miles from Lyons Bridge Farm in Cave Spring, Georgia where we source our steers. Being a local, Wes knows Georgia has some of the best land for raising cattle. Georgia also has some of the best agriculture and cattle educational programs in the world. Therefore, Wes sought out one of the top graduates of Berry College’s cattle management/agricultural sciences programs, Micah Studdard, to manage the farm.
The very best cattle lead to the very best meat. So Micah selected only the highest quality Registered Black Angus and Registered Polled Hereford cows to start the Lyons Bridge Farm herd. Then through a carefully planned AI program, he has grown the herd over the past four years to c400 head of mother cows. Both we and Lyons Bridge Farm care very much about the well-being and ethical treatment of the cattle. They are raised in a stress-free, non-crowded environment on an 1100 acre farm with 1.5 miles of frontage on Big Cedar Creek.
Lyons Bridge Farm Beef selects and purchases the highest quality all natural, antibiotic free Registered Angus steers from the Farm which we market directly to consumers and restaurants. LBF Beef is known for the excellent marbling of our steaks and the excellent taste of all of our beef products.
